Christmas Eve 2012

Good morning!  Sleepless nights this past two days.  Excited about the Christmas Eve Services tonight and our Africa mission trip.

We're singing in the choir on Christmas Eve (that's tonight!).  I used to sing with my barkadas (selected few friends) during "simbang gabi" in the Philippines.  I miss those memorable days.

The other excitement resulting in sleepless nights- packing, unpacking, sorting, packing, unpacking.  Can't find my stethoscope.  I searched high and low, all over the apartment, in my office at the University.  Then one day I gave up and said to myself, "it's gone!"  I decided to sort out my research papers and articles.  I found my stethoscope in my clinical UH bag with all my papers!

We're still not clear about the medical team's role when we get to Uganda.  God equipped every person in our team with skills, talents and gifts.  We intend to use all of them to serve God's children.

Clockwise:  Found my lilac stethoscope and it goes straight into my luggage.
Four boxes of medical supplies donated by The Queen's Medical Center's Central Supplies.
First attempt to pack with my back pack and main luggage.  Had to re-pack to live-off of my hand carry luggage for about 3-5 days.
